Our Fate Hangs in the Balance

Is that the right way to say that? That doesn't sound right... but I digress...

Charlie and I are currently waiting with baited breath to hear about his next rotation. Rumor has it that he should hear today, and it is currently 5:27pm, which in my opinion is the end of the work day. I'm waiting for him to come home from work with the news. We submitted our top preferences last week, with Memphis TN as #1, Dallas TX as #2, staying in CT as #3 and #4 and Atlanta GA as #5. That doesn't guarantee that we'll get any of those, but at least we feel like we had a say in things.
