Keeping You in the Loop

Charlie and I have our first trip to Connecticut planned! We're going to make a couple stops along the way to visit his gramma in Lancaster and to visit two of my college roommates in Philadelphia, but after that, it's going to be an intense weekend of neighborhood exploration. Granted, we still don't know (and won't know for another 2 months probably) whether or not we'll definitely be in CT starting in July, but it's our best guess and our preference to start there. We're going to meet a couple there who we're hoping to hit it off with - the guy was hired for the same program as Charlie and the girl is a (high school) teacher too. They currently live in NJ, so they'd be starting over just like us. It would be awesome to get to know them better before even moving and have at least two people that we could call friends in a brand new city.

Things sure are starting to move fast! Just another few weeks and we'll probably have our house on the market. That's one of the saddest parts for me, especially considering the amount of time we've put into our house. Lots of work and lots of memories. It's ok though - the next two years are going to be jam packed full of memory making opportunities, in more ways than we can even guess, I'm sure!

My favorite "your house memory" is cutting through that huge pipe in your wall that went from your up stairs bathroom down to your basement. Good times
