On Friday, after MONTHS of waiting and wondering, Charlie and I received formal notification that his first rotation will be in Danbury, CT. The woman who organizes all of the rotation placements was really helpful too, giving us the name of an OB practice in the area so we can get our first appointment all set up before we even get there.
We're planning on taking a trip to the area from June 10th-13th to find a place to live, with an estimated "leave Pittsburgh date" the week of June 16th-20th. That's only 2 weeks from today! Bit of a freakout scenario when I realized just how few days we really have left. For such a long time we've been in the waiting phase, now we're in the overdrive phase and it's quite an adjustment.
It was great news though to finally hear from them and know for sure where we're going. Now the fun really begins!

Yay!!! How exciting/happy/sad/scary all at once, huh?? Get in all that good Pittsburgh food while you still can, eat some fuel and fuddle for me, k? We will be praying for you as you house hunt and then prepare to leave. We love you guys! xoxo
