I just got back from Ocean Isle Beach, NC with my family. Charlie couldn't make it this year because of school, but we're both getting really excited for our Mexican getaway in 2 weeks. This was the first vacation in a long time (since Leah was born) that we had a baby on vacation with us, and it was great! Seeing Blake play in the ocean, taste-test sand for the first time and crawl around the house made the beach, which we've all been to dozens of times, new all over again. There's something great about watching kids experience something for the first time.
